NEWS: Bryan Okwara Actor shares 1st experience on movie set

Nollywood actor, Bryan Okwara, who is popular for movies like "Shattered Romance," "Weekend Getaway," "I'll Take my Chances," among others, was recently a guest at Pulse TV studios.

In an exclusive interview, the actor spoke on his first experience on set as an actor. According to him, he almost passed out.

"When I saw the script, I almost passed out. Like 'ah ah, what is this." It was really big. They said 'you're playing a lead, so you are supposed to get the full dossier.

I got the full script. I had to read everything, and it was like and a hundred and something pages. I said "nah, I'm not doing this."According to him, he was taught a few tricks, which he harnessed and applied, and which worked for him.

The Android app will bring 1,500 hours of affordable, premium Nollywood and Télénovelas content to millions of Francophone entertainment fans.

Currently available on Google Play, iroko+ is free for users to download movies and TV series as part of their subscription package, until June 1, 2016.

The brand new Nollywood and Télénovelas app will showcase the very best movies and TV series from Nollywood, novelas among other.

Titles currently available on iroko+ include "Folie", "Triangle Amoureux", "Qui sera la femme idéale?", "La Patrona", "Le Corps du Désir", "Dinama Nekh" and "Chroniques Africaines".

NEWS: In Israel Palestinian shot dead after stabbing policemen in Jerusalem

Israeli security forces shot dead a Palestinian man on Friday after he stabbed two police officers outside Jerusalem's walled Old City, police said, as a wave of heightened violence persisted into its fifth month.

The bloodshed has raised concern of wider escalation a decade after the last Palestinian uprising subsided.

"The terrorist attacked a police team from behind, stabbed and lightly wounded them. The team responded by gunfire and neutralized the terrorist," police spokeswoman Luba Samri said, adding that the man was killed.

On Thursday two Palestinian 14-year-olds stabbed and killed an Israeli in a supermarket in the occupied West Bank before an armed civilian shot and wounded the teens, who were taken for treatment to Israeli hospitals in Jerusalem.

Since October, stabbings, shootings and car rammings by Palestinians have killed 28 Israelis and a U.S. citizen.

Israeli security forces have killed at least 164 Palestinians, 108 of whom Israel says were assailants, while most others were shot dead during violent anti-Israeli protests.

Many Palestinian attackers have been teenagers.

Tensions have been stoked by factors including a dispute over Jerusalem's al-Aqsa mosque compound and the failure of several rounds of peace talks to secure the Palestinians an independent state in Israeli-occupied territory.
