searches containing "Game of Thrones" were slightly above average, but
shot up in the days before the season premiere, peaking at 370% on day
of premiere.
While the debut episode "Red Woman" aired,
Pornhub's traffic in the United State of America dropped by 4%. A huge
amount of traffic considering that Pornhub has over 60 million daily
visitors, and the United States ranks as its number one market.
Pornhub also shared term used by visitors who visit
the site. According to them, the term “Sex Scene” followed by “Parody”
and “Porn” are frequently used. More specific searches include the season five Cersei's “Walk of Shame” scene.
Titled "The Red Woman," the
premiere episode came to an end with Melisandre, in the privacy of her
quarters, removing her magical necklace to reveal her true form as an
ancient crone
