Tope Oshin Ogun Here's how filmmaker decides who gets a role among two qualified actors How easy can it be to choose a lead actor amongst several qualified actors? Watch Tope Oshin share how she makes the decision.

Nollywood award winning filmmaker, Tope Oshin Ogun("Fifty,") was recently a guest at Pulse Nigeria.
Tope who has worked in TV and  Film as a Director, Producer, Actor, Dialogue Coach and Casting Director, spoke on how she decides who gets the role when she has several talented and qualified actors.
Read excerpt;
"When faced with casting an appropriate actor for a role, and I have two equally good actors - because they are several parameters for casting , I break down to the smaller parameters.
Usually, when an actor walks into a casting room, the first thing you are looking for is talent.  If you cross the barrier of talent, then you are looking at 'are they right for the role.''
Then you get two actors who seem to be right for the role, who both read the role properly,  you then go into the  nitty-gritty  of  "ok, do they look like the character?" So, these are some of the other things where you can then decide to start chipping away until you arrive at the perfect choice."
