Exclusive Live Interview: Piego Of (Ajebo Hustler) Brought Fire To My Song ” Light” Which I Did With Them, Singer Tony Anthony Tells Billoniarepublic.

 


Handsome and young guy he is. Multi-talented and gifted in music is Tony Anthony. Who is a graduate of River State University and a master holder.
The River State born artist, is one artist you can under estimate when it comes to good music.
Incase you do not know, Tony released a latest collaboration song with popular Nigerian fast rising dual artist ( Ajebo Hustlers) title “Light” which is almost on all blog platforms an streaming sites.
So this week Billoniarepublic decided to visit him to get him talking. And this is what he said.
1. Who is Tony Anthony?
Tony Anthony is a fast rising Afro pop singer, song writer and a performing Artist.
2. What is your educational background?
I had my primary and secondary education at the Presbyterian Nursery and primary school, and New Heaven International school, all In Oyigbo, Rivers state. I also got a Bachelor’s degree in Mass communications from the Rivers state university, NKpolu, portharcourt in 2017.
3. What inspired you to be a musician?
I grew up listening to Artists like African China, Jarule, R.kelly, Paul play and High life songs from a neighbor’s radio at a tender age. This inspired me into writing my own songs.
4.How were you able to discover your music talent?
I discovered my Talent in music when friends told me I am good with singing and writing of songs. This made me work harder into being a recording artist.
5. What were your parents reaction?
My Father was always angry with me, because  I choosed to give music most of my time. He wonders how a brilliant person like me could be a musician.
He think musicians are smokers, womanizers and wayward people. He did not accept it. But my mother was not against me singing.
6. What were the challenges you encounter when you kick start your music career?
Firstly, as a student, getting finance to record my first song was a challenge. As time goes on, finding a good producer that understands me was a challenge. I worked with most top producers back in 2010. I worked with producers like; Mira Simboroba, Leosedot or Leovaskey, Nutty2 etc then currently, finding a good promoter was a little bit challenge but I am currently enjoying the situation.
